Wings Of Black Poem by Jonas Larsen

Wings Of Black

Rating: 5.0

'I'm a fallen angel, I spread my wings.'
My lonely soul, cries and sings.'
A song of anger, hurt and pain.
As teardrops fall like summer rain.

He raises his voice, cries out louder.
Wipes his tears, and stands up prouder.
Raises up, on wings of black.
Promising, he won't turn back.

A raging fire, within his eyes.
Because of all, the bloody lies.
He is so much more, than he seems.
Filled with hatred, and many dreams.

Split and torn, his heart have been.
But he still stands, keeping up his chin.

Nice poem with a lot of pathos. Full of great sentiments. The poem is rich in imagery and style. Great write indeed. I give it 10/10. Kindly read and rate my poem 'A humble complaint' on page 2.
