Winter Poem by Miranda DeNooyer

Winter

snow flakes sprinkle to the ground
animals hybernate and leave no sound;
Ice seeps over and covers the streets
kids smile, they're ready for sports meets;
To ride on the snow down a hill
the joy and smiles in our hearts fill;
Colorful lights decorate the trees
hot chocolate by fire, outside is a freeze;
In the town, the star sits up high
Christmas brings happiness, atleast in my eyes.
