Winter Poem by Walterrean Salley

Winter

Rating: 5.0

Though we admire the change,
The freshness and the snow—
Winter, relentlessly, can be
A formidable foe.

Lashing rain, cutting winds
Freezing pipes and more:
The cold-hard fact is...
Winter can be 'bore.'

Sorry to disappoint
The 'wintry' weather fans,
But some simply favor spring.
And even the fall is grand.
