Winter

Rating: 5.0

Winter-
Raviya Humaira

Are you not aware of the attribute that how I loathe rousing in the early hours of the mornin'?
But despite that, I would do it for you.
I would take a trek to feel you all over my spirit
To breathe you inside my lungs
Like vehemence blooming against my chilly soft skin
To be reborn again after months of tribulations and trials.
And yet
I've learned to love you in various facets
Life afterlife, season after season until I locate you.
Your love for me is unconditional-
It comes with no justification,
no agreement,
and no rules or impediments.
Your love is not inconsiderate,
unchaotic and true.
Like the ones narrators romanticized about,
Which I've read in the age-old tales.

Are you not aware of the delirium in my blood for the search of you?
How I've walked the empty days and nights of Autumn just to pass over to reach you.
Despite all the discomforts and dilutions, I would still do it for you.
This sedate, serene waft is to mend my heart
And the droplets of dew rattle my phantom.
Like it was meant to wash away all my pains.
casting a warm tender coziness rich into my blood running down my veins,
I would take the ache until you're sent to me so we can converse in the frozen wind.

I want to fall asleep under your spell and ecstasy
Until I woke up and it was spring afresh.
And I'd wait and wait through and through until the temperature tumbles into chilly cool.
And it's winter all over again
