Winter Blossom - Poem by Alis ZxZh

From another world,
they drift down,
an enchanting softness,
winter blossoms,
white,
oh so white.

They cover the world,
a soft longing,
death lurking in the shadows,
life is cruel,
but yet it is ever so beautiful.

Dazzling white,
beautiful but distant,
a dream far away,
sweet dream,
the longing,
my home,
the place my soul resides,
a distant dream,
a place of belonging,
a place yet so unnervingly distant,
oh, wondrous dream,
and yet only a dream.
