Wish List Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Wish List

The only thing,
Experiencing life...
Does not guarantee or provide,
Is ambition, incentive.
Or a chauffeur.
With limousine service.
Driving through,
Adoring and admiring loyal fans.
While one waves.
Being protected by bodyguards,
That allows one to stroll casually...
On a path cleared,
Of demanding photo taking paparazzi.
As one reviews which dreams to pick.
From a wish list!
Like the average celebrity,
Quietly does.
When attempting not to be noticed!
