Wishing For You Poem by Jonathan Doe

Wishing For You

On this holiday I wish you great joy,
I think that Santa even got you a toy.
But that’s no reason to scream and shout,
‘Cauz that’s not was Christmas is all about.

Christmas is a time for family to come together;
A time when everyone is merry and gay.
We have been through the worst of weather,
So all that’s left to do is enjoy this special day.

On this Christmas all I want is you;
A cheesy line? Maybe… but it’s true!
All I want is you!
All I want is you!

My happiness bears your eyes;
It whispers to me in your voice.
The touch of your lips is utter bliss to me;
The smell of your perfume is pure delight you see.

You are perfect in every way,
Beautiful in my eyes you will forever stay.
So today and always I wish you the best,
May you love life and experience great zest.
