Witch Hunt Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Witch Hunt

Out of hiding from all over.
The witches have come.
To join in on the hunt.
Hoping to find who it is,
Who has picked them to believe...
That they could be easily accused.
For something entirely false.
And now upset and determined,
These witches want it known...
No witch hunts.
Without producing the culprits.
Making accusations with creative lies.
And have the audacity to claim,
Them to be behind...
Setting fires within their own forest.
There is nothing like a witch hunting on the prowl.
