With Divine Vision Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

With Divine Vision

The idea struck to my mind
Why should I not find?
Or draw the picture of an almighty
I got pen and canvass to feel divinity

I drew some natural object
And analyzed their acts
I weighed odds and favour
I said yes, yes to the adventure

I had read many stories
From religious books
It spoke of omnipresence
Real true essence

Why was I trying draw?
When no one, so far, saw Him
It was just an imagination
And many sects had added some lines

I turned towards nature
And tried to assert for sure
I heart sweet melody from cuckoo
That reflected divine music to woe God

I saw many creatures
They certainly secured
Their position with devotedness
The dog represented faithfulness

I put aside pen and canvass
It was personal loss
Many sages said "The power is within"
Feel easy breath and win with the vision
