With You Poem by Julsera Wang

With You

Rating: 4.8

With you, I cannot discern day or night,
With you, only you are within my sight.
Oh, dear sweet love
Oh, bitter sweet pain.
Is it not the wild fires through the cement forest,
Is it not the innocent daisies on the undiscovered,
Neglected… insignificant corner of the street.

One utterance, one disregard, once flaw of memory
Twisting affection into tearful abhorrence.
One instant, one kiss, once gentle caress
Returning virtuous hatred to burning compassion.
Oh, hate is but loving’s excess.

Wow! ! This poem is very well written! ! I especially like your usage of word choice =) Those words you use aptly convey the main meanings and themes of your poem! ! I especially like the second stanza! ! It seems as if the second stanza is building up the tension, up into the climax, the last line. It is definitely a tour de force! ! btw: I really like your name, Julsera... Very unique, indeed! ! And poetic in a way...
