Rookie (YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW! ! ! / Clovis, New Mexico)

without any sleep one can get grouchy! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Early in the morning I wake up
Trying to get some sleep
But I can’t
For 2 hours I lie in bed trying to ketch some sleep
When I finally do
My cats are as loud as could be
They fight
In the night
Make a big fuss about it
And wake everyone else up
Not only do we have to take him to the vet today
But now we have to separate them
One has got a cut
About an inch big
On his neck,
Is it from the other cat.
Or is it from the loose dog
Trottin’ around my neighborhood
He is cute and I love him to death
But TO WAKE ME UP AT 6 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING
When I already only got an hour of sleep
That is ridiculous
But now he is safe and teasing me
Because he is sleeping like a new born baby
And I can barely stay still without moving
Cats! ! ! !
What can you do with out ‘em

Your hands lie open in the long fresh grass, --
The finger-points look through like rosy blooms:
