Wolf In Sheep's Clothing Poem by Zia Eybers

Wolf In Sheep's Clothing

Rating: 4.0

Why is it me you no longer love
Why am I not the one taking first place
Why did you move me to a dark space

Why did you decide I deserve your torture
Why did you decide my normal emotional reactions are punishable

I gave you my heart
I gave you my soul
My love was yours to keep
And you thank me by making me weep

I am no longer in you light
It's me you refuse to hold lovingly tight
I am now in my own world
But somehow your terror reigns here too
You became a monster I can not shoo

Hod did you turn demon evil so soon
Or was my love really that blind
Some creatures come alive only on a full moon
But a fierce creature lurks constantly in your mind

You.......my love
You are a wolf in sheep's clothing
