Women's Vanity Poem by Edwina Reizer

Women's Vanity

Some women want to look different.
They're not content with how they appear.
Who they see in a mirror
they wish could disappear.

They go on diets, eat like a bird,
have face-lifts and yet
are never satisfied with what they see
and would like to change the imagery.

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the prettiest of us all?
And when the mirror answers this
'Certainly it isn't you Miss.'

They never are content with what they see.
So they'll try to change again.
Who are the ones happy with their persona?
I guess it must be the men.
