Words Poem by Sophia Ong

Words

You could stab a person
Without any reason.
It could be the most powerful weapon,
But you should learn a lesson.

Words could either cause someone's
Happiness or sadness.
It could also be
an inspiration or a killer

Words could kill,
So better control your mouth.
Don't say words that could hurt,
Because it could change someone's heart.

Words are like guns.
Those bullets you are firing.
Can leave a wound, a scar.
It could never be forgotten.

Words can also persuade,
But use it in a good way.
Words can also change someone's perspective,
It would leave an impact, a mark on someone's life.

Use words to inspire
Not to make someone cry.
You should try,
Because it's easy as pie!

Phiyah: Think before you speak! Choose you words wisely.

A great lesson of life runs through the poem. Let us mind our words before we speak lest it should cause injury to the sensibilities of any other person. I like this poem. Thanks. A quote: Words are like guns /.....Can leave a wound, a scar. /.....Use words to inspire / Not to make someone cry.
