You think words don't hurt,
No matter if -
They are on screen or when you speak.
But to tell you the truth,
If you are the one listening,
You will be hurt.
It feels like you're getting stabbed,
Over and over,
Thousands of times.
It feels like you are getting shot,
In the head,
By the strongest bullet.
You think they don't hurt,
Because you believe,
They are rumors.
But if you were in someones shoes,
You would kill yourself,
Over a hurtfull word.
Some people do,
They hang themselves,
Or stab themselves.
Some may cut their wrists,
To show how they care,
That's when you call them emo.
I hope one day,
You'll figure it all out,
Admit that words do hurt.
