Words From A Fish Poem by Obed dela Cruz

Words From A Fish

Rating: 5.0

Humans, look to that fresh and clean water.
In there, I may build my home and shelter.
But please, never take it away from me
For I want to promise my family
That we won’t die from pollution
And our race will be kept from extinction.
O busy humans please grant my request
Before it’s too late and we are all messed.
I cry! I cry! Please listen to me now!
Have you forgotten your first human vow?
You swore that you will be responsible
And that you’ll always be available
To do your job as a human being.
So please, don’t let your good conscience from dying.

You have written right. Your poem is the demand of the day not only for fish world but also for human society.

Plea from a fish to man to spare his aqua environment. It is an innovative piece on 'protecting the environment'.
