Words of some solace

Poetry is a vast field
the spirit must be strongly held
rainbow colours should be added
and be aided by human sentiments

if humanity is to be called the kind gesture
let us make it sure
no innocent suffer
and we whole heartily offer

let us not talk big
and dig
at the weaknesses of human nature
we are all simple creatures

if we can offer words of some solace
with the smiling face
and remain firmly in the race
the human journey shall have enough room to pace further

if our pain and anguish can move human hearts
it is the story of humanitarian art
that moves even stone-hearted people
and compels them to participate in our struggle
