Worryless Poem by Chijioke Olisah

Worryless

We sleep through the Night,
With hips of tiredness without a sight,
Feeling so dim like a candle light
With interesting dreams like tales of the moon light

All because we re chasing a destiny during the day
Being too careful and avoiding going astray
Gathering wealth like pieces of clay,
And hoping that the present day will be counted as “yesterday”.

Is this suppose to be a routine,
Stressing the secreted adrenaline,
Making the sun rays shatter our melanin
As if life taste like chloroquine.

Detecting the position of the sun before it sets is possible,
Counting the second’s anti-clock wise before it ticks is feasible,
All aspect of life are accessible.
By knowing the fact that He’s able.

Mehn, this world is full of fun,
We need to take it easy as it comes,
Keeping our chicks high and making the sorrows to mourn,
And making the life sweet like a pop-corn.
