Worth
I was undressed to the core;
Shattered conscience, not confident anymore.
Hopes and dreams, grounded with a screech;
My own heartbeat out of reach.
Motionless pen and decaying cellulose;
On which I wrote many a prose.
One remark was all it took
Cutting through with serrated tooth
Sending humiliation, insult and desperation
Ending an intellectual celebration
But for the desire to bounce back
With a vengeance to take a crack
A realization came quick,
When I was alone and free.
That no stone is thrown;
at a fruitless tree.
i agree with person wht they say who comment before me. sometimes we want something so bad we wait its gone but sometimes wait can be gd thing u never k fanatic job 10+++ kept it up
no stone is thrown at a fruitless tree- high self esteem. at times insensitive comments crush us temporarily. but we bounce back as realisation dawns, nobody can take our sense of self worth from us. well expressed Nikunj 10 Mamta

Very true, dear! But, the debatable point is of stones being thrown or fruits inspiring people to do the same? /? Think about it, nikunj! !

i love it especially the ending part...the realization portion...we all come at a time in our lives when we realize things..somethimes too late...and sometimes, just in time to make things happen the way we want it to be.
