Worth It Poem by Scott Class

Worth It

Rating: 5.0

Tears run down my face as the words flow from my pen.
Why does it feel like I'm only ten.

My heart is in pieces, my life in a shamble.
When you fall in love its a big gamble.

Is all the pain really worth the cost?
Is better to have loved and lost?

Maybe its better to have never loved at all,
Because at least then you never have to fall.

I'll let you be the judge and jury,
As for the the way I see it, I'm in no hurry.

The pain last longer than the nights,
But I have to say I don't miss the fights.

It's not that I'm bitter or even mad.
This poem is a result because I'm sad.

For those of you in love I wish you the best.
I hope that your love is never put to the test.

This poem is about my journey and the heavens above,
With God as my compass I will find try love.
