Would you begin a journey
from a life so cosy and warm?
Would you remain behind
amidst a coming storm?

Would you change direction,
no matter where you go?
Would you choose to stay,
come rain, sleet or snow?

Would you make amends,
regardless of your state?
would you accept the end
such as death, a friend or fate?

Would you break a smile
when time seems to tick?
Would hold the fort
if fortune moved in quick?

Would you stop the world
in times of stress and fear?
Would you try your hardest
if things were very clear?

Would remain together
within a broken scene?
Would you go beyond;
through truth, the light, the mean?
