Wounded In Heaven Poem by Garima Raj

Wounded In Heaven

Rating: 4.5

Watch ye every day;
Your every single move,
Your every single word,
Your presence,
Your absence and this increasing distance between.
Physical, mental or emotional
Be it far or near,
I watch ye without fear.
Your thoughts are signals to my nerves
Which my mind always serves.
I live in solitude: With you as a beauty to behold!
To whom my mind, body and soul were sold!
I no longer breathe through my nostrils, think with my damn mind, speaketh my words and exist as myself.
I have lost my individuality;
Earned your love as a gift though.
A mere infatuation might not have cost my whole life.
Whatsoever, I don't want to repent.
As I have no days left to get it mended.
Fo' gaining my individuality,
Back with the same or increased quality,
I have to stop, leave and move on.
As it is meant to be:
Life goes on and on and on.
