Wrasslin' Down - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Wrasslin' Down - Lincoln Park Zoo

Mondika and Djeke, the two
Young gorillas, go wrasslin' at
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Rollin' all 'round their habitat.
Such fun can be tiring no doubt.
The pace of wrasslin' starts to slow.
Even youngsters get tuckered out.
And soon their wrasslin's in slow mo.
Wrapped 'round each other arm in arm,
'Round and 'round roll the young bro team,
Grabbin' all from this playtime charm,
Until each one runs out of steam.

But it won't be too long before
They're at fast paced wrasslin' once more.
