X Marks The Spot
tracking the traces
with an old eyeglass
reading the imprints
of long ago trespass
reading the old print
of symbols like gestures
as depicted in some
forgotten manuscript
yellow markers pointing
toward the desired spot
while scraping the bottom
finally discovering x
