Yes, I Believe Poem by Neela Nath Das

Yes, I Believe

Rating: 5.0

In a dilemma
when I started believing
what to do next
if I leave this scarlet
horizon- - - - -
Will there be any
geographical
reason to come back
to the heart of my left seeds?
One night I listened
the sound of dribbling,
of blood, slow but incessant....
I fell in dilemma again...
I stepped back.
It's not a fanfare.
So silence pierced
my arrowed soul.
It changed its side,
groaned, howled.
It's not easy to turn
your mortal body away
from your desired goal!
The agony, the pain
nibble my each and every
inch still now.
Can't you hear that sound?
I know your prophecy
has double meaning.
One is for praise,
another?
Hmmmmm.....of course
of curse, anger and lust.
Yes, I believe you.
Your disconnection,
your harshness,
your camouflage,
your shouting
under your silence....
Everything dear,
is suggestive.
But,
I'm now an island,
no vessel can anchor here.
