To Yesterday I bade goodbye
We departed with tears in our eyes
But she with a sorrowful face
Loved me dearly for all my grace
Followed me everywhere relentlessly
Reminding me of our love graciously
To Today I said hello and smiled
She was as fresh as a child
But she with a cherubic face
Made me give my dreams a chase
She my chaperon, my present
Reminding me never to be discontent
To Tomorrow I said nay
I don't have anything to say
But she with dreamy eyes
Told me stories truthful and lies
Set me up with stories of hope
And with her I wanted to elope.
your poetry has a very strong 'provocative feminine streak', , , thats simply lovey, , , but when you elope let me know too, i can give you a helping hand :) , ,10
