You are the faith that revives the forsaken soul

You are the inspiration that the uninspired don't see
You are the essence of all lost time
You are the surprise of the imagination's flight
You are the freedom of the unbridled mind

You are the peace of a loving embrace
You are the solace of a heart at rest
You are the desire of an unrequited love
You are the silence of a solitary path

You are the silence I had to break
You are the cold wind I had to brave
You are the color that had to fade
I am the love that you never saved
