You Poem by KwaNdebele Science School

You

I always knew you were a trouble maker.
My heart didn't take no for an answer,
I always asked myself a question
That 'Why doesn't it feel so good but hurt so bad? '
I see you everyday, putting on fake smiles
Trying to impress them but forgetting you're not
A part of them. The world was turning
Around on me, laughing at me and you
Took part too. You were with me, pretending
To care, acting like I'm your last destination
But I was your resignation.
I know you deserve to make mistakes,
But why did I have to be the mistake.
