'' You Achieve Your Dreams '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' You Achieve Your Dreams ''

Rating: 5.0

Despite me trying,
I can't stop crying,
I'm stuck in a mud filled pool,
There's no denying,
I feel like dying,
This life can be so cruel.

Filled with pity,
Isn't pretty,
I detest my own reflection,
The nitty gritty,
I'm Walter Mitty,
From myself I need protection.

I'm not to blame,
Nor in the frame,
It's everyone's fault but mine,
I don't feel shame,
For what I've became,
All criticism I will decline.

Then one strange day,
I refused to obey,
Realising life was a gift,
After lifting the grey,
The clouds went away,
Suddenly I felt such a lift.

I accepted assistance,
Dropped all resistance,
We all have at times gone wrong,
With dogged persistence,
And genuine consistence,
Soon I was back on song.

I made amends,
Enemies became friends,
I deserted hatred for love,
When the mind transcends,
It pays dividends,
I'm enjoying my gift from above.

Don't ever give in,
Let out what's within,
Utilise the power of soul,
Let new life begin,
This battle you'll win,
It's time now to take control.

In your darkest hour,
Don't ever cower,
Life is never as bad as it seems,
Your demons devour,
You have the power,
To ensure,

‘' You Achieve Your Dreams ‘'

You are trying more but you are still crying. You are crying with emotion. Depression has brought up sadness. Work gives joy so you are trying to get success. Accepting assistance is nice. This poem is definitely beautifully penned...10
