You And I Poem by Elizabeth Clement

You And I

You tear me,
So I can’t dream.

I tear,
So now I can’t dream,
Of you.

You drown me,
So I don’t breathe again.

I drown,
So I can’t breathe,
Every breath you’ve taken.

You bleed me,
So I can’t feel anymore.

I bleed,
So now I can’t feel,
The pain I feel for you.

I die,
So I don’t have to see,
you with her.
