You Are With Me, Always Poem by Jennifer Margaret Paul

You Are With Me, Always

YOU ARE WITH ME ALWAYS.
Your Face…
Your Voice…
Your Laugh…
Your Joy…
Your Anger…
Your Touch…
Your Kiss.
I love you more than I ever should
Or ever desired.
A feeling that envelops all my senses,
My entire being.

Why do I feel this?
I don’t want to!
I HATE IT!
Yet it remains,
Untouched.
With no hope for reciprocation
Only acceptance that it exists

A Chaos
That resides within me
A Soul
That torments without regret
A Tide of emotion,
Always surging
Never calm.
This Feeling will not leave me
It is a lingering Spirit
Of something that never was.

So many words have been written
That you will never read.
So many tears have come,
But never shed.
So many dreams have been made,
That will never come true.

Only one unconditional desire remains

ALWAYS REMEMBER
YOUR LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL
I cannot taint it
I will not!

ALWAYS REMEMBER
A cherished friendship that at
Every moment was
Inviting,
New,
Challenging,
Scary

ALWAYS REMEMBER
My heart is not breaking
It only senses a precious loss.

ALWAYS REMEMBER
I LOVE YOU
