You Can Poem by David Harris

You Can

Rating: 5.0

How many times have we said,
we cannot do this or that?

How many times do we say it,
because we do not want to try?

Nothing is impossible,
think positive, and say, you can.

Trying and failing,
is no real crime.

Never to try at all,
now that is a crime.

You never know what you can do,
until you give it a try.

Just keep saying to yourself,
you can, and you will.

It's the 'I Can' rather than the 'I Can't' philosophy that we must keep present in our minds. To think positive is a lot less stressful than to think negative. We can do whatever we put our minds to if we want it bad enough, an excellent reminder David, wonderful poem.--Melvina--
