You Deserve The World Poem by LA' Sohn Brock

You Deserve The World

Releasing my mind
Asking you to release your heart
I bare my soul to thee
I see it on your face
Your doubt
Your worries
Your pain, but I cannot read your mind

I stare as you sleep with a smile on my face
My heart warm with all the love, I feel for you
Praying, giving up my soul
Just for this one moment to read your thoughts

You seem to be so distant in thought
So silent in my presence
Your so far but so close
I miss talking to you
I miss your laugh
I miss your smile

Please talk to me
I gave up my soul a many of nights
and my soul still remains in pain within me

I stand here
Allow me to bend one knee
Begging you
Pleading with you
Please open your mind to me
Tell me what has you so distant from me

I stand here in silence awaiting
My lips sealed
My heart in pain
My eyes staring into yours

I love you
I am your friend
Your companion
You are my life line
Without you I don't exist

Leave me a note
Leave me a clue
Please take a moment, what can I do

You Deserve The World
You deserve all that I cannot offer
You deserve my air I breath
The blood in my veins

So I will be here
As I have always been
Awaiting
By your side
Till my last breath
And all around me goes dark.

Why so passive? If you want something, why not be active about it. That's what makes the difference, really. L.O.V.E.
