You Gave Your Life

You gave your life that we might live
And enjoy You as the Lord
Being one with God the Father
And the true and living Word
Though we are but a speck of dust
We become clay in the Potter's hand
Upon our submittance to the will of God
Where is delight in His so great Sslvation

I have no other god's before me
For Christ is Lord of all
Such awonderful loving Saviour
Upon whom I can always call
For since He drew me unto Himself
To experience His amazing grace
There's no other transaction more worthier than
Than to seek the Master's face

Imagine the very God of Heaven
The Ctreator of all you see
Being willing to forgive us from our sin
Our sin-debt His Calvary!
To shed His blood...the Creator of life!
O what glorious wonder of it all!
To love us still in spite of our sin
Saving whomsoever on Him may call

O I became a whomsoever will
When as a whomsoever will I came
I tasted of the very Wine of Heaven
When I called upon Lord Jesus'sname
The Holy Spirit immediately responded
When I bowed my head in prayer
Recognizing that I was a sinner
I breathed my first eternal breath of air

O Hallelujah how I praise Him
Who wouldn't with a God like that
Who though yet He knew of my trespasses and sin
He still came to just where I was at
And extended grace as His offering
If I would but repent of my sin
When that Light finally dawned upon me
I could hardly wait to invite Him in

O there's a loving Saviour
Who's offering you extended care
He'll wrap you in His arms of deliverance
Showing you the treasure found there
Showing you a sin slate clean as a whistle
And whistling you will do
Walking hand in hand with your great God and Creator
Who was bent upon saving you!
