You Have A Prayer Poem by Gary James Smith

You Have A Prayer

Rating: 5.0

You Have A Prayer

When hopelessness comes upon you
To bring you renewed despair
Don't let it's tentacles ensnare you
For my friend you have a prayer
For there is a hope offering One
Who had His struggles too
In spite of the tremendous onslaughts He faced
He was able to see them through

This world is not the be all and end all
For there's another world to come
One that is free from all sin and harm
Indwelt by the inhabitants of God's Kingdom
Maybe you're not aware of the fact
Of that three letter word called sin
How powerful it is to extinguish true hope
Hope that's only to be found in Him

But praise God for the blood of the Lamb
Through the which we can be cleansed
And offers up hope for eternity
When we become born again
So check out God's Word and see for yourself
Find value there that's.. extraordinare!
Come to the Lord all ye humble of heart
And remember that...you have a prayer!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

it is true that prayer can move you to better things, however, we must pray harder for the world, today, is filled with a large amount of chaos
