You were there for me
When all seemed darkest
When i couldn't cope
When for a minute i wondered
What would be easier

You truely cared
How i felt and what i did
You knew what it was like
You understood who
I really was.

You didn't mind
That i wasn't cool
That i didn't fit in
You didn't care
What anyone else thought

You were there
You always had something
Nice to say
You helped me smile
Through my tears.
