Late in the night I rouse from sleep,
I feel you next to me, your breath sound and deep..
I take your arm and snuggle it around me,
getting as close as I can to your body...
I love this safe place... this is mine all mine...
my sanctuary for the rest of living time.
I feel your heat pulsating into me...
keeping me warm and safe and free...
I love this time... even though I should be asleep,
its your scent I take in with breaths that are deep.
I love your smell and your very essence...
with you, I have no boundaries or resistance.
I drift back off to dream with a smile on my face...
for with you is my very happy place.
