This guy who's always there for me
The one pulling me up from the dregs
Placing a smile on my tearful visage
Making my day no matter how miserable
A priceless treasure -
Love without measure -
How did I get so lucky?
That is one grand tribute, so sweetly penned. Down to earth and private yet not. Not your usual style Linda, and you do this so very well too. t x

It is not because you are lucky! It is because you are so beautiful! Just as this poem- You are a 10! !
Oh Linda... all of us should be that lucky! Great write!
hey i feel lucky to have find a nice friend as you ma'am.. nice write... with lots of love ] shan
yes, you are so lucky..he is a treasure..I love this, Linda..written from your heart. Hugs, Meggie
Luck graces those who are deserving, not always, but certainly here. What I am most intrigued about is this poem could be about any man in your life - a husband, lover, son, brother, father - quite an accomplishment given the brevity of this write. Excellent in every way. When I read it, I imagine that it is of me you speak....
I'm sure you don't keep these sentiments a secret though! ! A friend in need is a wonderful thing, and a friend who appreciates it is surely worthy of it. Brief but very telling words Linda. xx jim
