you took my child hood
my love

my laugh

you'll never believe the nightmares
you'll never know the pain
you'll never see the scares you left
I was just something to gain

it happens to other people
you say oh how sad
you say that poor thing
how can she be so mad

but when it happens to you
it's just something else
it changes everything
and there's nothing you can do
