You Lost Poem by Yasmin Rubayo

You Lost

Rating: 3.0

What if you never knew me
And met someone else instead?
Would you be this nice to her
And still be interested?
You never act this way
You tell me this is not you, normally
Does your family see this change
Or are you just kidding me?

It's laughable to think that
At one time I believed you
But even more funny now
Is how you think I still do.
I played this game so much
For the past three hundred days
That I changed the rules, and stole your turn
It's time someone else plays

Only this time I won't be like you
With your out-dated pick-up line
I will play fair, in fact I plan
To burn this game to grime
Because out of all of this
I see your garbage is totally filled up
With those scum-sucking maggots
That equal your good luck.

Ha! You miscalculated!
Outmatched and all alone
New game! I'm queen of mountain
And you, Sir, lost your throne!
How does it feel to fall so fast?
Don't look at me. I've been there
But the great difference is
If you come back from Nether
No one here is gonna care
