There are times
When I'll close my eyes
And see your face
And for just one moment
Forget the time and place

I'll remember the times
We hugged and then kissed
And how when you were gone
It was you who I missed
I remember the secrets
And words that we shared
And how, just for a while,
It felt like you cared

I remember 'I love you,
For now and forever'
In all of those times
Which we had spent together

Then I remember
How you ruined it all
And when I had hoped to be caught
You just watched me fall

Then, once more,
I'll open my eyes
And suddenly think of
Every tear the I cried

I tray to fight back every memory
Of the two of us
And hope that some day
I'll find someone true to trust

I remember every time together
And every shared moment
But out of it all
The only thing you really did
Was inspire me this poem
