You Shall Miss Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

You Shall Miss

You shall miss
Wednesday,24th July 2019

You have seen me loving
and believing
in each word spoken
and taken as a gesture of love

you saw me running after
making you roar in laughter
it didn't make me angry
rather made more hungry

I tried to hug
but you shrugged
didn't show any interest
and rested as if nothing was on

but I cared
and dared too
yet you yielded nothing
I thought something was really wrong

now you shall long
for my songs
as they won't be heard
and all the words shall be missed
