You Take Care Of You Poem by Ray Hansell

You Take Care Of You

From the heavens above
Do we see a ray of hope?
As we try to navigate
Along life's slippery slope

The uncertainty of it all
Is felt everywhere
It seems it has given
Many people a real scare

Looking for some answers
While facing the unknown
Hoping that very soon
Normalcy returns back home

Living through this crisis
Is a scary place to be
But that's where we are right now
For how long, we must wait and see

The information we get each day
I personally find it worthless
Each news station gives it own spin
It's like a three ring circus

There is a light at tunnels end
Hopefully we'll find our way there
No thanks to any politicians
Because, do they really care?

So make sure that you protect yourself
In everything you do
Because when all is said and done
It's you who takes care of you
