You'Ve Gotta Gotta Go Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

You'Ve Gotta Gotta Go

Rating: 2.8

You must know why,
I like our nights of leisure.
The moment you sigh...
I turn the lights,
Down low!

Then you say to me,
'You've gotta gotta go! '
Don't you know...
I've come to be with you?

Then you say,
'You've gotta gotta go! '
Don't you know...
I want to stay.
I've come such a long way!

You must know why,
My time with you is treasured.
I want you in my life.
For more than just what is pleasured.

But then you say no...
'You've gotta gotta go! '
Don't you know,
I'm here to be with you?

Please don't say,
'You've gotta gotta go! '
Let's try to forget,
All regrets we once kept.

Don't say,
'You've gotta gotta go! '
Let's start out fresh,
And build on love that's left.
Don't you know,
I've learned a few lessons too!
Don't you know,
I'm here to be with you?

My dear friend, it is not easy to cope with the situation when you traveled from so far away to be with a woman you love and she say: 'you've gotta gotta go' neither it is easy to explain to oneself what went wrong, simply, because you don't know, and still you've gotta gotta go, great poem, I love it, you got my vote 10+, hope you have some time and read some of my poems, I just got started, but know I have a long way to go, Love and Peace, Romeo, thanks for sharing...
