You Were Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

You Were

Rating: 5.0

If I could turn
And return
Your tears
Into cheers

You were rose
Earlier, I suppose
You were unlucky
As life turned cruel and made you panicky

You were pushed to corner
And rushed no sooner
To dark gallows
I thought it not to be allowed

I proposed
And you disposed
With smile on face
I could now well trace

The old color was back
You could now think and track
Life was all for smiles
We need to shape it meanwhile

Hurt no one
But help all
If you can
That is all we want
