You Were Shy Girl
I was dying for your love
Many time I had held your hand and believed
“That love is supreme and necessity”
“A real blessings from almighty”
I knew you had little hitch from the start
But I had strong urge to be your part
I expressed it intensely and whispered
You gave no indication but simply smiled
Your eyes could not hide secret
It allowed me everything but so late
How much I was thrilled do you know?
I had gentle wind’s wish to blow
You were shy girl and represented ideal woman
I was controlled animal but gentleman
I wished to be romantic in your company
I had spurned the wish offered by many
You were never blunt
As you were feared of fingers being burnt
I wanted to assure you of no such occurrences
As you had come to me not by chance
It shall be my endeavor to look after
As you reminded me of no hater
You have stood your ground well
You have made heaven out of hell
