Your Eyes Poem by daughter of a seafoam

Your Eyes

Rating: 5.0

Inside those marbles, I have read
messages forgotten by your tongue.
Your telescope that revealed the world:
the hazy colors splashed in the horizon.
But what I loved most
in your eyes is
as it searched,
discovering, identifying,
scrutinizing, drifting
from view to view,
from site to site,
segregating the interesting and mundane,
it found its way  
showing me to you,
and gazing into mine.
