The nation is paying homage
who freed us from the bondage
granted us liberty and freedom
with the fully independent nation
it was hard-earned freedom
with no paralleland wisdom
he gave a call to disband the political party
and hand over the state of affair to the people of the country
what do we witness today?
so far it was dismal show and sentimental play
politicians cheated the nation for the number of years
now it has reached to such a stage that we have developed fears
today they march by taking his name,
swear and pledge the promises with the claim
but are shadowed by corruption and incompetence
the people gave a verdict and pronounced the sentence
today we not only remember his contribution
but condemn those politicians who disregard the nation
for their narrow political gains,
maintain the integrity and try to stay in the mainstream
