Your Hands Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Your Hands

Rating: 5.0

The imagined touch of your hands felt so nice
Your soft olive skin so smooth I touched it twice
I felt it's softness caress my smooth shaven cheek
Closed my eyes and felt my senses awaken
And my defenses grow weak
Not even a word did you have to speak
I felt your kindness, and compassion not so weak
And when you pulled my warm hand to your soft breast
I felt cared for and unashamed
I felt life's burdens suddenly feel less
That's the part I remember best
Even more than the caress
The softness of the moment
Your gentleness
