Your Love...My Sanity

I am a walking volcano...
The power within me...
Is stronger than Mount Vesuvius...
The fire within me...
Is powerful than that vicious molten lava
That devoured the city of Pompeii...
The tragedy that keeps on hovering
My society....
Tempting to alter my identity....
Oh...I want to let my anger out
Seeking justice in this world...but,

But I see you (my love) in the middle of it....
Calm and so collected...
With your big smile and beautiful soul...
Calling for me....pulling me toward you...
Then I knew...right at that moment...
That you are... 'The one'...
My balance in all this insanity...
My anchor...
My redeemer...

I am a walking bomb...a dynamite...
My heart lingers at the check points of the west bank...
My soul mourns those helpless children on the Gaza streets...
When the lost generation is being hampered and harassed...
The sound of the gun fire...
Physical and psychological war...
Young ones witnessing this horror...
Ohhh...I want to scream to the heavens...
When those cruel soldiers...
Impeding health workers...
With their roadblocks and barriers...
Detaining innocent child patients...
Letting them die in the process....
I want to explode...but,

But I see you (my love) (my eternal) in the middle of it...
Calm and so collected...
With your loving heart and beautiful soul...
Calling for me...pulling me toward you...
Then I knew...right at that moment...
That you are...'The one'
My balance in all this insanity...
My anchor...
My redeemer...

I am a mounted cannon...
The fire within me is so strong...
It can devour the whole world...
Thinking of children that are traumatized...
As their tools of normalcy was robbed...
My heart traces the civil war and cry again...
For the Seven year old soldier boys in Sierra Leone...
Little children....weaken shoulders...
Carrying a heavy gun...
When they took them to the bush and drugged...
Desensitizing them in killing their own kind...
I want to start spiting out my fire....
With full power and such a flare...But

But I see you (my prince) in the middle of it....
Calm and so collected...
With your kind heart and beautiful soul...
Calling for me...pulling me toward you...
Then I knew...right at that moment...
That you are.... 'The one'...
My balance in all this insanity...
My anchor...
My redeemer....

How can I forget Mr. Foday Sankoh...?
The Hitler of West Africa...
A rebel for a wrong cause...
Recruiting children as soldiers...
Kidnapping little girls as sex slaves...
Oh Liberia and Sierra Leone...
Forgotten war but unforgettable children...
Made them combatants and laborers...
Ohhh those little child miners...
Protecting the blood diamonds...
My soul wants to scream and moan...
I want to erupt the fire I have within...

But, I see you (my love) (my angel)
In the middle of it...
Sobbing for those children...
And yet, calm and so collected...
With your generous heart and beautiful soul...
Calling for me...pulling me toward you...
Then I knew...right at that moment...
That you are....'The one'...
My balance in all this insanity...
My anchor...
My redeemer...

I want to cry an ocean...
For those Indian children...
Oh North Bengal cruel city...
The stone crushing industry...
For just 0.35 cent a day...
Those little hands slaving away...
Five year old boys and girls...
Victims of asthma and silicosis...
Lung cancer and tuberculosis...
Child labor of modern day...
Denial of human dignity...
Oh there is a flame in me as red as blood...
Wanting to take revenge in my own hand..
But....

But I see you (my love) (my savior) in the middle of it...
With your soothing heart and beautiful soul...
Calling for me...pulling me toward you...
Then I knew...right at that moment...
That you are...'The one'
My balance in all this insanity...
My anchor...
My redeemer...

I am a walking volcano...
I am a boiling mountain...
My soul lingers in Pakistan...
Wanting to devour someone...
I want to cry for that woman...
Who was burned alive by her man...
Leaving her children behind...
In the hand of Almighty God...
I close my eyes but I still see...
The blood of that eight year old boy is in-front of me...
They caught him stealing bread...
On the streets of Iran in the market...
They crushed his arm with a moving truck...
They said, 'The punishment is from God'....

Oh Almighty God help me...
Life painted with such cruelty...
I want to stand at this court of Sheria...
Proving the kindness of Allah...
For those who punish the undeserving...
When evil keep on thriving...
When I see animals winning....
I want to cry....
I want to bleed....
I want to scream....
I want to erupt....
E-X-P-L-O-D-E....
But then....

But then my love,
I see you (my avatar) ...
(My eternal) (The king of my planet) ...
I see clearly.....
JUST YOU...
